Yialos Taverna opened on Jalan Pasuruan in Menteng in May 2026 as the bigger, broader follow-up to the group's Senopati grill. Chef and founder Bobby Handoko designed it for long shared meals, with a spacious main dining room, four VIP rooms for private events, a children's play area and a nursing room.
Seafood leads here. At the seafood station you choose fresh fish and shellfish to be grilled or salt-baked to order, and the menu adds Menteng-only dishes such as psarosoupa (Greek fish soup), kalamarakia sti skara (grilled baby squid), marides tiganites (fried small fish), kotopoulo lemonato (lemon chicken) and spicy prawn vongole. The Yialos favourites remain, including grilled octopus, the meat platter, souvlaki and Athenian lobster pasta. Portokalopita, a Greek orange cake, is a good finish.
It is well suited to family lunches, celebrations and business entertaining that needs a private room. It opens from 8am daily. Message the restaurant to book a VIP room. The original Yialos Grill & Souvlaki in Senopati remains the livelier, grill-focused sister.
