Mykonos On The Bay faces the marina at Quayside Isle in Sentosa Cove, with blue-and-white furniture shipped from Greece and tables looking out over the berthed yachts. It is part of the Mangiatutto group and is run by executive chef Mauro Muroni and general manager and sommelier Gerri Sottile, who both spent time in tavernas on the Greek islands.
Meze cover tzatziki, taramosalata, graviera saganaki and spanakopita. The charcoal grill turns out paidakia lamb chops, gyros, giaourtlou lamb skewers and whole tsipoura or mylokopi. The section titled Grandma's Recipes Book is worth a look: mousaka, melitzanes imam stuffed aubergine and a slow-braised stifado. Finish with baklava or halva.
The waterfront makes it a natural choice for a sunset dinner or a slow weekend lunch, and Sentosa Cove residents get 10% off food. Lunch runs from noon to 3pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, dinner from 6pm to 10:30pm on weekdays, and weekends are all day from noon to 10:30pm. It is closed for lunch on Thursdays.
