Helena calls itself an old-times Greek kitchen. Its logo is a grandmother in an apron, and the cooking leans the same way: home recipes, generous plates and a menu that runs from mezze to whole fish. The dining room on Soi Sukhumvit 51 opens onto a semi-outdoor terrace with plants and string lights, and it fills up at dinner.
Build a table of dips first: tzatziki, htipiti with roasted pepper and walnut, and the signature hummus with caramelised mushrooms, all with a basket of mini pitas. Then add dolma avgolemono, eggplant moussaka, spanakopita and Helena's own kalamari in tomato sauce. For a main, share the Thessaloniki-style whole sea bass off the charcoal grill or the slow-cooked fish stew. Finish with portokalopita or rizogalo.
Groups, families and Thong Lo or Phrom Phong locals come here for an easy Greek dinner, and lunch on weekdays is quieter. Mains mostly cost THB 240–440, plus 10% service and 7% VAT. Book through Chope or message the team on WhatsApp or LINE.
