EMMA sits in Laguna Village on Lagoon Road in Bang Tao, with a white-and-blue dining room and a terrace that looks straight over the water. The kitchen calls its cooking modern Greek, built around vegetables, cheese and seafood, and borrows a few ideas from Italy, Thailand and the French Riviera. Around half of the 50-odd dishes are fixed Greek recipes that stay on the menu year-round.
Start with the meze and dips, which arrive with warm pita, then move to the flatbreads baked in-house. Gyros and grilled octopus are the dishes regulars mention most, and fish and seafood are cooked over live fire. Lamb cutlets are priced by weight, so check before ordering. Pastas, sushi rolls and a short dessert list fill out the menu, and there is a separate bar with a wine list.
It works well for a relaxed dinner as the light fades over the lagoon, and for small private events. Tables can be booked through the website or on WhatsApp, and the team also delivers within Bang Tao.
